Matthew Topartzer is a moviemaker who’s been featured in the International Surrealist Film Festival and is one of the first absurdist video artists to screen his work, “Mustard and Beer”, on Amazon.com. His new movie soon to be released is called “Celwery”.
Matt has shown remarkable skill with selected short subjects with his “strangers and friends”.The visuals are surreal and well-selected.Audio is sometimes common everday audio experiences in the public domain or interesting experimental musical audio. There are also occasional shock value to some scenes with interesting sound effects.Matt’s use of multiple frames, visual motifs and echos bring some ordinarily folksy experiences to an art form.I liked this art house film. – Norm Johnson,
